DMC Canada 2008 DJ Championship
RÈGLES de PARTICIPATION
RULES and REGULATIONS:
The competitions are open to legal residents of Canada only
There is no entry fee for DJ competitors.
DJs must perform solo - no teams are permitted
Competing DJs can only use:
Two (2) Technics turntables
One (1) audio mixer (with no effects)
Two (2) Ortofon cartridges and stylus
Vinyl records
Technics SL-1200 /1210 turntables will be supplied at each competition.
Competitors supply their own mixer (effects components are not allowed to be
used).
Only Ortofon cartridges and stylus (any model) are permitted. Competition
Ortofon cartridges will be made available for DJs that do not have a pair of
their own.
Competitors supply their own records, slipmats and headphones.
DJs are allowed to compete in a maximum of 3 Canadian Elimination Heats.
Competitors will be allowed a period of exactly six (6) minutes each to
compete.
The first place winner of each Canadian Elimination will
compete at the 2008 DMC DJ Championship Canadian Final taking place
in Quebec City this September.
The first place winner of the 2008 Canadian Final will represent Canada at
the 2008 DMC DJ Championship WORLD FINAL.
Who will be the 2008 Canadian Champion?
